Life Legacy

George Wesley Scott, the eight child of eighteen born on March 5, 1947 unto the union of his parents, Fred Olden Scott and Bessie Mae Young Scott in Tupelo, Mississippi.
As a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church he served on the Usher Board, Deacon Board, Sunday School Superintendent and Board of Trustee. Goerge was a retired employee of McRay's Department Store. He was a license Barber for several years. He enjoyed fishing, watching sport's and a #1 fan of the Lakers. Loved spending time with family and friends and good food.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Missionary Fannie Mae Scott, his daughter; Minister Detra F. Scott, brother's; Rev. Sam Scott, Charles Scott, William Scott, Walter Lewis, James Scott, Bobbie Joe Scott, one sister; Linda Scott.
George, surviving his devoted son's,Wesley Scott, Jerel Scott, Darain Scott, Lawrence Scott, his sister's, Betty McKinney, Ruth (Eddie Lee) Guyton, Annie (Charles Sr.) Copeland, Brenda Robertson, Debra (James) Tugger, Itassa Scott,Veronica Ballard, Vanessa Ballard, Shewan Gorden, Shaunta Gorden, brother's, Theodis Scott, Fred (Linda) Scott, Archie (Kim) Scott, David (Abby) Scott,Olden Gorden, Jr., five grandchildren, several uncle's, aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
